Our instruments are made by hand from the ground up in SLC Utah, U.S.A. by Luthier: Nick Adams (Lead builder/Owner) who is a graduate of the Roberto-Venn school of Luthiery in Phoenix, AZ and a notorious Volume and Gain knob abuser. We want you to LOVE your U.D. guitar like an infant child. Our unique approach to form factor and ergonomics and unrelenting attention to detail are only part of what makes a U.D. guitar top notch.

Our business model reflects a dedication to attention to detail and quality control. Each UD guitar is built start to finish one at a time, not thrown into batches. Availability is extremely limited in order to facilitate our strict standards and determination to produce only guitars made with inspiration and enthusiasm. Or philosophy is to strike while the iron is hot because we believe that’s where the magic is.
